Bids must be made upon Specification Section 002000, FORM OF BID and shall include a certified check, cashier's check, or by Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Lindenwold Board of Education in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid but in no case in excess of $20,000.00. The bid shall also be accompanied by an executed Consent of Surety in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25, agreeing to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the stated principal amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, and a two-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract amount. The LINDENWOLD BOARD OF EDUCATION has the right to award the contracts within sixty (60) days of the bid opening and reserves the right to reject all bids in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions, as may be permitted by law. Bidders are advised that the Lindenwold Board of Education reserves the right to cancel this Project at any time due to any unforeseen circumstances that arise in connection with any Public Health Emergency and funding related to same.
