This project involves the construction of a pole building on Durham Township Property. The required dimensions for the pole building are 30 W x 60 L x 164 H Open front with 12 OC post spacing. Additionally, we require A: Rain gutters installed on front and back of building, down spouts on the north ends B: Painted stainless steel snow guards on front and back, 2 rows per side staggered 9 OC. Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished by the Township and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total price bid, and payable to Durham Township. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, and a Maintenance Bond, (in the amount of twenty five percent (25%) of the Contract Price, to be in effect for a period of 18 months), from a corporate surety approved by the Township. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates may apply to this contract. As such, alternative bids are being sought, one using Prevailing Wage and one not using Prevailing Wage. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, or to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids. Bids may be held by the Township for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids.
