Renovation of a medical facility in Wauseon, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As of April 25, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 153.54, each bidder shall be required to file at the time of the bid, one of the following options: A bond in accordance with division (B) of section 153.54 of the Revised Code, providing for the Bid Guaranty and the Contract Bond in the full amount of the bid, or, A Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Revised Code, in accordance with division (C) of Section 153.54. The amount of the Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit shall be equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. If this option is used, a Performance Bond issued by a surety company in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be furnished by the successful bidder as a condition of the contract. Ohio Prevailing Wage Laws apply to this project and must be paid in accordance with Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code, and as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce-Division of Industrial Compliance, Wage and Hour Administration, for Fulton County, for each laborer, workman or mechanic employed under this contract. The Board of County Commissioners of Fulton County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
