The Town of Pocahontas, Virginia, is soliciting written quotes for firm pricing for certain demolition and debris removal and clean-up of three (3) dilapidated properties in Pocahontas, Virginia. The successful Bidder warrants that all services provided shall conform with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. To be considered, your quote must be submitted in writing, signed by a representative authorized to bind the Bidder in the matter, dated and must be received at the Town of Pocahontas prior to the date and time stated above. Changes to the requirements in this solicitation shall be made only by written addendum. DELIVERY: Services and any required materials shall be delivered within thirty (30) days from award of contract. SPECIFICATIONS: -- Demolition of three dilapidated structures located at Pocahontas, Virginia identified as follows: o LOT, WATER STREET TOWN OF POCAHONTAS; 338 East Water Street, Pocahontas, Virginia o LOTS 7-7 A EAST WATER ST & MAPLE GROVE SUB; 288 East Water Street, Pocahontas, Virginia o LOT 2, GRAHAM TOWN SUBDIVISION; 563 Center Street, Pocahontas, Virginia. -- Demolish and remove all structures, construction materials, refuse, and related materials. -- Clear lots, haul away debris, and grade to smooth lot -- This solicitation is for the full job, including equipment, labor, materials, and clean up. AWARD METHOD: Award shall be based on bidder responsiveness, price, and capacity. Quotes must be endorsed by person( s) having the authority to bind the individual or company. CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: This quote document and the purchase order issued as a result of this solicitation shall serve as the Contract. The Contractor shall, within 15 days after notification of award, execute and deliver to the Town all Contract Documents and other forms such as insurance or bonds required by the Quote. Otherwise, the Town may award the Quote to the next lowest responsive and responsible Bidder and keep the Bidder's Quote security, if any.
