Renovation of a detention facility in Pocahontas, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The project is generally described as the replacement of gutters on eight buildings. A Bid Bond is required. Procedures for submitting a bid, claiming an error, withdrawal of bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders, which is part of the Invitation for Bids. Withdrawal due to error in bid shall be permitted in accord with Section 9 of the Instructions to Bidders and 2.2-4330, Code of Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor registration is required in accordance with Section 54.1-1103 of the Code of Virginia. See the Invitation for Bids for additional qualification requirements. All executive branch agencies are directed to advance Executive Order 35, dated July 3, 2019. ** pre bid info : Site Access Rules and Regulations: 1) Valid ID required; 2) No electronic devices; 3) No blue jeans or orange clothing; 4) All parties who plan to attend the pre-bid must have a security clearance approval from the facility prior to admittance.
