Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lynchburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The project includes replacement of twelve (12) vertical paddle flocculators and two (2) clarifier drives at the City of Lynchburg College Hill Water Treatment Plant (WTP). The City will provide the two (2) clarifier drives as Owner Furnished Contractor Installed equipment as described in the contract documents. The equipment is located in two existing circular steel ground tanks approximately 80 feet in height. Each tank contains one (1) clarifier with the drive mounted on the top of the tank, and six (6) paddle flocculators in existing square steel tanks suspended from the top of the circular tank. Clarifier drives and paddle flocculators are accessed from the College Hill WTP Filter Building by walkways to the tops of the tanks. The project also includes providing an MCC in the Filter Building to power the new flocculators and clarifier drives, and miscellaneous structural and electrical lighting improvements. NOTE: Any and all addenda will ONLY be posted to the Citys website. No public Bid Information to display City Hall access is restricted for the second and third floors, including access to the Procurement Office. Bids shall be delivered to the Citizens First Information Center in the first-floor lobby of City Hall located at 900 Church Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504, Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Procurement Office staff member will be contacted by Citizens First to retrieve the bid and time stamp it at that time. It is the sole responsibility for the Bidder to ensure their bid is time stamped prior to the deadline for submission. Please allow additional time to ensure this is done.
