The Contract begins with the reservation which may be converted into a rental if the PUBLIC BODY exercises its rental option. The rental can start during the booking period for modular classes. If the PUBLIC BODY exercises its rental option, the CONTRACTOR has fifteen (15) days' notice to proceed with the installation and delivery of the modular units. These Works also include the electromechanical connections and disconnections, as well as the dismantling of the modular classrooms and the restoration of the premises in good condition at the end of the contract. The rental option can be exercised on all modular units or on a lower number. Timeline The modular classes should be available from May 1, 2023. Only contractors holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act will be considered for the award of the contract . Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender. Duration of the contract and renewal The Contract includes the reservation of modular classes for a period of four (4) months; At the end of the reservation, the PUBLIC BODY may extend the Reservation for two (2) periods of one (1) month each; The Contract includes an option to rent modular classrooms for a period of one (1) year and two (2) renewal options for a period of six (6) months each; The Reservation and Rental of modular units is managed in accordance with the Reservation and Rental Contract of the Tender Documents and the execution of the Works in accordance with the Construction Contract of the Tender Documents.
