The Lebanon Municipal Airport is seeking bids for airfield pavement crack filling. The work is to be performed according to FAA Advisory Circular 150/5370-10 Specification P-605 (see attached). The airport will provide escorts for the awarded contractor while they are on the airfield. The airport is requesting bid prices per linear foot. Area to be sealed will be based upon cost per linear foot. Question Submission Deadline:March 31, 2023, 4:00pm Question Response Deadline:April 4, 2023, 4:00pm Substantial Completion:June 16, 2023 Final Completion and Acceptance:June 23, 2023 The Contract Documents that will form the Contract are as defined in the General Conditions. Bidders must examine each of the Contract Documents, visit the location of the work, and inform themselves of the difficulties attending the execution of the work prior to the submission of their Proposals. The successful Contractor shall give attention to the definitions included in the Contract Documents. Rout open runway, taxiway, and ramp cracks with a rotary cutter to a minimum of 5/8-inch wide by 5/8-inch deep. Blow cracks clean and dry. Fill cracks to surface. Seal with hot rubberized asphalt that meets ASTM D6690. All materials and procedures shall be in conformance with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5370-10G Item P-605 (attachment F). Primary crack seal areas in order of priority are listed below. See attached graphic (attachment G): 1. Taxiway B West of Runway 18 (50' X 1,568') approximately 78,400 SF. 2. Runway 7-25 South of centerline, from RWY 7 threshold to Taxiway A (50' X 1,180') approximately 59,000 SF. 3. Taxiway D (70' X 360') approximately 25,200 SF from North to South, and Add Alternates: 1. Runway 36 to Taxiway A-1 (100' X 2,720') approximately 272,000 SF. Approximate Total Area: 434,600 SF including add alternates. Airfield escorting and sweeping after completion in a work area to be done by the airport.
