NEORSD is issuing the RFP for professional service to provide advanced stormwater planning of the Big Creek West Branch Problem Areas WB-BP-01 to 03. Problem Areas WB-BP-01, -02, and -03 were identified for advanced stormwater planning because aspects of the preferred alternatives from the SWMP recommendations are no longer viable, the complexity of the interactions between the RSS and local stormwater system (LSS), and additional information is needed to understand the full impacts and benefits of projects. To assist in implementing the RSMP, and provide efficient, cost-effective operations, the District is requesting professional services under Advanced Stormwater Planning of Big Creek West Branch Problem Areas WB-BP-01 to -03 project to provide the following: 1- Review existing conditions and understand LSS flooding and BTUs versus RSS flooding and BTUs; 2-Develop and evaluate project alternatives; and 3- establish phasing for recommended alternative to address RSS flooding. WBE/MBE Goal: 5% SBE Goal: 5% Proposals shall be no more than 25 printed pages, with hard copies printed on sheets of double-sided recycled paper. All pages will be counted (i.e., each side of a sheet will count as a unique page, so one double-sided sheet will be counted as two pages) unless indicated otherwise in this SOQ. Sheets that are 11"x17" shall be counted as two pages per side, or four pages if double sided. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
