Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, Zone 7 Water Agency (hereafter referred to as Agency) desires to hire a qualified and reliable contractor to repair the roofs of the Maintenance Shop, Upper and Lower Maintenance Trailers at the Del Valle Water Treatment Plant located at 901 E. Vineyard Ave. Livermore, CA 94550. The Agency will award the contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder. All bidders shall meet the provisions, requirements and specifications listed in the Request for Proposal (RFP) # 2024-03. Questions Due: March 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. PT Contractor to provide roof repairs for the following buildings/sites, at the Del Valle Water Treatment Plant: Maintenance Shop, Upper Maintenance Trailer, and Lower Maintenance Trailer. 1. Inspect exterior for: damage and continuity of roof covering; deterioration of fascias, gutters and soffits; and performance of flashings. 2. Inspect interior finishes (ceilings and walls) for signs of water penetration and structural distress. 3. Safely repair or replace broken, damaged, or rotten materials and areas of the roof with either materials that are similar to what was used originally or improved materials. 4. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision with incidental. 5. Remove all scrap, litter and debris resulting from operations specified herein, and leave work and the premises in clean and satisfactory condition. 6. Upon completion of each repair, or when directed by Zone 7 Water Agency Maintenance supervisors, the Contractor and Zone 7 shall conduct careful inspection and shall correct all defective work to the satisfaction of the Agency. 7. Provide Zone 7 with a report of the inspection and completed repairs done to the three (3) buildings. Zone 7 Agency reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, to negotiate specific terms, conditions, compensation, and provisions on any agreements that may arise from this solicitation; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Proposals; and to accept the Proposal(s) that appear(s) to be in the best interest of the Agency.
