**As of April 24, 2023 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Bids may be mailed to the location indicated above or hand-delivered. If hand-delivery is preferred, Bidders shall contact Yhanna Perez-Ortiz (yhanna.perez@cityofclarksville.com), the Project Manager, prior to Bid opening to verify whether or not City offices are still closed to the public. If offices are still closed, all Bids shall be turned in to the security desk in the lobby of One Public Square, Clarksville, Tennessee 37040, prior to the above listed date and time. No Bidders will be allowed to pass through security. The security team will call the City of Clarksville Purchasing Department to retrieve the Bid package in the lobby. The Project includes the following Work: The work to be performed (Work) consists of the rehabilitation of deteriorated manholes and other wastewater structures as assigned using a three-layered lining system having a finished minimum thickness of 500 mils being spray applied to the interior surfaces of the structures. The layering shall consist of a polyurea/modified polyurea adhesion coating, followed by a polyurethane foam surfacer coating, followed by a polyurea/modified polyurea protective barrier coating. The lining system shall restore the surface profile of the structure, be corrosion resistant, and eliminate water infiltration and exfiltration. The Work includes surface preparation, installation of the lining system, and holiday testing as set out more fully in the Specifications. Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, labor and equipment to complete the Work. Work may be conducted throughout the City of Clarksville Gas and Water Department's operating area (Site) with specific structures issued through Work Orders. Bids are requested for the following single prime Contract. The Project has an expected duration of 336 days to Substantial Completion after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and 366 days to readiness for final payment after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Upon mutual agreement of both parties, the Agreement may be renewed a maximum of two (2) times for a one-year period at the prices stated in Contractors Bid. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to "Clarksville Gas & Water Department". Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Upon request, the Issuing Office will transmit the printed copies of the Bidding Documents via standard ground delivery service. If prospective Bidder requests expedited shipping, prospective Bidder shall bear the cost of shipping charges; Issuing Office will, upon receipt of fee payment and prospective Bidder's United Parcel Service (UPS) shipping account number, send printed Bidding Documents via requested UPS shipping service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
