The project includes asphalt pavement and concrete sidewalk demolition, new asphalt pavement and concrete sidewalk construction, new concrete bus boarding pads, roadway signing and striping, new signs and replacement of existing signs, erosion control and BMP measures, and other related improvements, and incidental construction in accordance with the plans and specifications. This Contract shall be for an initial one (1) year period. This Contract is renewable annually at the option of the County of Hawaii for four (4) additional one (1) year periods, until July 31, 2027. To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii, General Contractors A License, prior to the award of the contract. Confidential Material shall be readily separable from the bid in order to facilitate public inspection of the non-confidential portion of the bid. Each proposal shall be on a form furnished by the Administrative Office, Department of Public Works, County of Hawaii. Campaign contributions by State and County Contractors. Contractors are hereby notified of applicability of Section 11-205.5, HRS, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from specified State or county government contractors during the term of the contract if the contractors are paid with funds appropriated by the legislative body.
