The Ethical Community Charter School, HVAC Upgrades LOCATED AT: 95 Broadway, Jersey City, NJ 07306 The Owner will not assume responsibility for bids not delivered in person. Please take note that some overnight delivery services offer a service which guarantees delivery of your packages by 9:00 A.M. The Ethical Community Charter School may not be open at this early hour and some vendors are discovering that the delivery services will not re-attempt delivery of the package until after the bid opening. Please be guided accordingly. It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that bids are presented on the hour and at the place designated. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27. An Initial Project Manning Report will be requested from the successful bidder (form AA201). A Bidder on public works for a Board of Education where the cost of the work exceeds $20,000 shall be prequalified as required by The State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27 through 33, et. seq. and shall submit with his bid a copy of a valid and active NOTICE OF CLASSIFICATION and a certified copy of a Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts Form. Each bid, the total price of which exceeds $100,000 shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Owner for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, including alternates, not in excess of $20,000. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2, Bidders are required by law to submit a list of the names and addresses of all individuals with a 10% ownership interest in the Bidder. A Non-Collusion Affidavit and a Contractor Questionnaire/Certification also must be filed with the bid. The Bid Package shall also include other documents that must be completed and returned with the bid. Failure to comply with the bid specifications and to complete and submit all required forms may be cause for disqualification and rejection of bid, according N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27 et seq. The Owner reserves the right to reject any non-responsive bid or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. and to waive non-material informalities, in accordance with applicable law, and to take such alternate(s) in sequential order as budget and appropriated funds may allow.
