Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Working plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for the construction of a transportation facility.
**As of May 10, 2023, this project has been cancelled due to bids over budget. No definite date for the rebid.** The scope of the project is to install a new airport rotating beacon and beacon tower with concrete foundation at the Upshur County Regional Airport located near Buckhannon, West Virginia. The installation will consist of removal of the existing airport rotating beacon, installation of a new LED rotating beacon, beacon tower, and concrete foundation, all of which will be covered under the Base Bid. The project will also include mobilization and any other appurtenances required for a complete project detailed by the plans and specifications prepared by Chapman Technical Group.
