PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Louis A. Johnson VAMC is seeking a general contractor to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for the construction bid documents to renovate approximately 8,920 GSF on the basement level for kitchen and offices, renovate approximately 2,950 GSF on the first floor for the Eye and Physical Therapy clinics, and construct a new two story addition of 5,730 GSF (2,865 GSF per floor) for the kitchen (basement) and PT Clinic (first floor) as required by drawings and specifications. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million.
