The Subcontractor shall begin performance within forty-five (45) calendar days and complete it within 30 calendar days after receiving [ ] award, [ X ] Notice to Proceed. The Subcontractor is advised that any required payment and performance bonds must be promptly executed and returned to the contracting officer 9. CONFERENCE MEETING INFORMATION AND ADDITIONAL NOTES (IF ANY) A Pre-Bid conference and site visit will be conducted on 9 March 23_ (date) at _2:00 P.M. Central Time. (hour) local time, at Building 200 Conference Room 123, 400 Young Road, Vance AFB. It is recommended that the Contractor visit the site of work at this time. Failure to do so shall not be basis for claim against AFFS due to lack of knowledge of existing conditions after any contract award. Please notify Jennifer Bolz if attending by email. We will accept questions on this project until 3/16/23 at 3:00PM CST by email. AFFS Field Services will not make payment for materials delivered to the job site in advance of their incorporation into the project. 52.211-12 LIQUIDATED DAMAGES-CONSTRUCTION (SEP 2000) (See AFFS Federal Field Services Supplement PG 5 ) (a) If the Contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified in the contract, the Contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of: $267.00 per calendar days until completed and accepted. (b) If the Government terminates the Contractor's right to proceed, liquidated damages will continue to accrue until the work is completed. These liquidated damages are in addition to excess costs of repurchase under the Termination clause. Please notify Jennifer Bolz if attending by email. We will accept questions on this project until 3/16/23 at 3:00PM CST by email. All work must be in compliance with TITLE 165. CORPORATION COMMISSION CHAPTER 25. UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS. Part 13. Removal and Closure of Underground Storage Tank (UST) Systems 165:25-2-131 Tank Removal and Closure. a. Contractor must be a licensed UST remover and must be on the job site at all times during removal. Any underground storage tank system permanent removal requires at least a fourteen-day (14) notification, prior to the removal activity, by submitting the OCC Petroleum Storage Tank Division (PSTD) a scheduling form; and receiving confirmation of the scheduled removal from the PSTD. b. The tank must be completely emptied before removal. c. Piping must be removed and capped at the building. If removal of piping is not possible, contact AFFS Construction Manager for further guidance.
