Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Newport, Rhode Island. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Housing Authority of the City of Newport (HACN) is seeking requests for proposals (RFP) from Architecture & Engineering firms for the project described. Proposals shall include all materials, labor and equipment unless otherwise noted. Donovan Manor is an existing 6-story 85-unit elderly housing building. In addition to housing there is an administrative office for HACN's property management team, a wellness center, and leased space. There is a shortage of parking spaces at the property and HACN is seeking an Architecture & Engineering firm to design a solution to the parking shortage problem. HACN is open to all options whether it is re-designing the existing parking lot, creating a new parking lot at one of the existing grass areas, or a combination of both, etc. "An Equal Employment Opportunity" The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
