STATEMENT OF WORK Chief Joseph Dam Warehouse Garage HVAC System(s) Bridgeport, WA 1. Provide all materials and labor for installation of 2 x identical packaged, self-contained, outdoor, multi-stage HVAC systems with economizer mixing boxes, for each unit: Air conditioning with resistive heating elements. (Heat Pump alternative not acceptable) 480VAC, 60 Hz power source a) Include appropriately sized disconnects, and all wiring from disconnects to units. b) Source power will be provided to within 6 feet of disconnect locations. At least 12.5 tons cooling capacity, and no more than 20 tons cooling capacity. At least 45 kW resistive heating, and no more than 120 kW resistive heating. Provide economizing mixing box that admits controlled amounts of outside air as makeup and for exhausting internal air. a) Capable of providing at least 600 CFM of outdoor make up air. b) Makeup air much be conditioned. c) Include bird screens as necessary at outdoor intakes/louvers. 12 SEER efficiency or better. Compressors shall be hermetically sealed. Packaged units shall be waterproof, frame mounted, and ready for power connection. a) Must be anchored and secured to ground. b) Must be located at building floor elevation. (See Fig. 2 and 3) Standard size and grade of filter on inlet of return duct. Exact location of units and related equipment at approval of Government. 2. Provide all materials and labor for installation of duct work for #1 above, following requirements are for each unit: Furnish all ductwork, piping offsets, fittings, and accessories as required to provide a complete installation. Installation between outdoor units and indoor ductwork will occur through removal of existing glazing. Glazing, core drills, and other modifications to the structure are subject to approval of the government Install main duct header. a) Attach to building rafters at ~20 feet high, with minimum clearance of no less than 16 feet high. b) Run from packaged unit to end of zone, ~so feet horizontally. c) Reduce size of header as necessary to maintain diffuser velocity. Install diffusers. a) Must spread and throw as required for intended performance b) No less than 8 diffusers and no more than 16 diffusers c) Can be branched or direct connected to header 3. Provide DOC system capable of standalone control of both units from a single controller. Must be capable of fully automatic operation of both units from a single display. Must have 2 discrete temperature inputs. Provide comprehensive control and wiring schematics for O&M use. Must use either BACnet or LonWorks protocols. Must have local display panel. Must have appropriate 1/0 to operate each system. Remove and dispose of existing equipment. 4 x 5-ton Trane compressor condenser units (Located outside on steel frame, See Figure(s) 1, 2, and 4). 4 x 5-ton Trane air handling units/evaporators (Located inside at rafter elevation, See Figure(s) 1, 5, and 6). All existing control systems and refrigerant piping. Bollards to remain in place, located ~12 feet from building at North-East corner (See Figure 1).
