As of May 22, 2023, a construction manager has not been selected. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to May 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Reference Number 0000314436 The City of Englewood Utilities Department (“the City” or “City”) is seeking proposals, through this Request for Proposal (RFP), from qualified consulting firms to perform a current assessment, goal setting, alternatives analysis, optimization, and 30% design of improvements to the solids handling process at Allen Water Treatment Plant (Allen WTP). The consultant will coordinate with City staff and a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) to improve the solids handling capacity of Allen WTP and ensure the successful integration of a centrifuge currently in procurement. A future phase will carry this effort into final design and construction.
