Inviting proposals from qualified playground installers to furnish the materials and labor for the installation of the Lower Atkinson Common Playground, located at 447-469 Merrimac St., Newburyport, MA. Scope of Work for the Lower Atkinson Common Playground Project includes but is not limited to: receiving and acceptance of equipment from ME O'Brien (estimated delivery July-August), installation of perimeter fencing (+/-254 linear feet of 4' ht. black coated chain link with top and bottom rails and 1 ADA accessible double gate, supplied by Contractor--must be installed prior to PIP), excavation and removal of 12" of site material (6,184 sf), site preparation including installation of specified crushed stone sub-base, installation and assembly of playground equipment (93 footings, 175 cu ft of concrete MEO23123), coordination of the installation of the PIP surfacing with Surface America, installation of 15' ht. barrier baseball netting per specifications, and any potential add alternates as listed.
