Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work to be done varies based on the location and condition of the sidewalks. Removing and resetting existing granite curbing and installing new granite or hot mix asphalt curbing as directed. Reconstruction or constructing new cement concrete, hot mix asphalt, brick sidewalks and driveway aprons to meet ADA/AAB requirements, constructing ADA/AAB conforming wheelchair ramps, removing and resetting or replacing roadway signage as directed, rebuilding or adjustment of drainage and sanitary structures, remove & reset gate and water shut off boxes, replace drainage structures as needed and replace sections of drain pipe as directed by the awarding authority. Sub Bid Category no sub-bids Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. All questions by prospective Bidders as to the interpretation of the bid specifications shall be received in writing via email to the DPS Business Manager and be in their possession by noontime Tuesday April 11,2023. Bidders are also urged to communicate all errors and discrepancies found in the Bidding and Contract Documents to the DPS Business Manager. The DPS Business Manager will then post an addendum via www.projectdog.com by noontime, Friday April 14,2023.
