The project consists of new playgrounds, surfacing, site demolition, grading, landscaping, drainage, shade structures, fitness equipment, and more. Bid bonds will be required by bidding contractors. Only the bids prepared in compliance with the bidding documents will be considered. This project must adhere to the Prevailing Wage Act of 2022. Park District of Oak Park By: Chris Wollmuth, Secretary Park District of Oak Park 218 Madison St. Oak Park, IL 60302 The Park District invites sealed bidder's proposals for the Work described in this Bid Package and generally described as follows: Work to include is broken into 3 areas: o North Barrie Park work will include the removal of an existing retaining wall, resetting the existing retaining wall, new landscaping, ADA tile at intersections, and new canopies at players' benches. o South Barrie Park's work will include the removal of the existing playground, rubber surfacing, retaining walls, one lightpole, and pavers. New work will include a new playground, synthetic play turf surfacing, discovery play area, fitness area, plaza gathering area, rain garden, drinking fountain, lighting, landscaping, and new ADA tile at intersections. At the sled hill, new topsoil will be added and seed mix to the top of the hill and reset the existing retaining wall. o West Barrie Park Tot-Lot work will include the removal of an existing playground and rubber surfacing.
