For the performance of all labor and the furnishing of all materials, tools, machinery and appliances necessary for the construction of the 2023 Perrysburg Township Paving Program in accordance with the Plans and Bid Documents. Each bid shall contain the name of each person, firm or corporation interested in same and must be accompanied by either a bid bond to the satisfaction of the Perrysburg Township Administrator, or a certified check on a solvent bank, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Bid, made payable to Perrysburg Township as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The project consists of milling the existing pavement surface and filling with asphalt concrete surface course on various Perrysburg Township roads. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wood County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Wage and Hour Bureau. Bidders shall submit with this Bid the Affidavit required under Ohio Revised Code Section 5719.042 that the bidder was not charged with any delinquent personal property taxes in Wood County, Ohio and the Affidavit required under the Ohio Revised Code Section 3517.13. Bids received after the scheduled Bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond or Check, will not be read or considered. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Certificates of Insurance. Perrysburg Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the most favorable to Perrysburg Township. Perrysburg Township also reserves the right to add or subtract from the quantities shown in the proposal. No bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. This project is on multiple roads in Perrysburg Township and the City of Perrysburg and consists of milling/overlaying the paved suface and applying an asphalt overlay of the milled/existing pavement surface To ensure that adequate time is available to respond to all requests from bidders, only those written inquiries received by March 30, 2023 will receive a response.
