Renovation of a residential development in Gouverneur, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Bids for the furnishing of all labor, supervision, insurance, and material(s) necessary for the 73 Parker Street, Gouverneur NY, Contract No. 1 - General Rehabilitation project will be received by the Development Authority of the North Country. The size of the electronic submittal shall not exceed 3 MB. If the files exceeds 3 MB other delivery arrangements should be made. The bidding contractor must have the capacity to complete and invoice for all work prior to August 15th, 2023 Bids will be received for the following Contract: Contract No. 1 - General Rehabilitation - Base Bid 73 Parker Street - Base Bid - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include: Furnish and install new metal roofing, furnish and install a new natural gas furnace, and remove back roof area caps and replace with PVC Kleer Boards. Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors along with lead hazard and asbestos rehabilitation work items. Contract No. 1 - General Rehabilitation - Additive Bid No additive bids identified for this project. Select the correct procurement to download in "Active Bids". The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. Bid Solicitations and Contract Documents are provided by the Development Authority of the North Country as part of the Authority's due diligence in its role as the CDBG Housing Program Sub-Recipient for the Town of Gouverneur. The Town of Gouverneur is the recipient of the New York State CDBG Grant funding. The Development Authority, working with Town of Gouverneur staff, will review all bids submitted for completeness. The Development Authority will make recommendation to the homeowner on the lowest responsible bidder. The Rehabilitation Contract will be between the Homeowner and the Contractor. MWBEs and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply. The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS CDBG-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies. Estimated Range $25,000-$40,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
