The Work will be accomplished under a single Prime Contract to include general, mechanical, and electrical construction. The Bidder is required to include base bid sum(s), alternate bid sum(s) and unit prices in the Bidder's Proposal. Bidders are alerted that all contractors and subcontractors involved in this project shall comply with the requirements of the Labor Standards Provisions as indicated within the Section 00 72 13 -General Conditions of the Contract for Construction. Prevailing wage rates apply to this Work, and you can access these at State of Minnesota's Dept. of Labor & Industry website, Prevailing Wage Rates Link; be sure that the report is for "Commercial - County # 27 - Hennepin County". If you do not have computer access, copies of all documents are available at the PCS office, Government Center room A-1730. Owner has also attached Prevailing Wage hardcopy. Site Walkthrough Guidelines: Depending on the site, all visitors for the walkthrough are expected to wear face masks and comply with federal, state, and local laws related to health and safety. In addition, all visitors are expected to follow Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines and C DC guidance on COVID-19, including social distancing at a worksite. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or corporate surety bond in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the base bid, as bid security. If awarded a contract, each successful Bidder shall be required to furnish both Performance and Payment Bonds.
