Civil Engineering Plan Check Services Civil Engineering Design and Project Management Services Survey Services Environmental Review Services Consultants are invited to respond to one, or any combination of, the disciplines that are within their area(s) of expertise. The District intent is to establish a list of up to three qualified Consultants within each discipline to provide on-call/as-needed services. The list of qualified Consultants for each discipline will be used for up to three years, subject to an annual review by the District. Hourly rates may be adjusted on an annual basis, subject to review and approval by the District. RFQ Questions Due: April 10, 2023, by 12:00 PM (PST) Grading (mass/rough, precise). Soils report review (as they pertain to other plans submitted for review). Sewer design, both public and private. Structural review. Public and private lift stations. Tenant improvements as they relate to sewer. Parcel/final maps. Easements. Lot line adjustments. Check subdivision and parcel maps for compliance with California Subdivision Map Act requirements. Provide topographic surveys for improvement projects. Traditional topographic surveys and aerial topographic surveys to determine locations and elevation of existing improvements, structures, and topographic features. Perform research and survey work related to public and private land ownership, public and private easements, public improvements, construction, and historic information. Write and review legal descriptions and easements. Do all survey-related and some engineering-related computations and drawings using traditional methods and/or using computer methods currently available. Prepare legal descriptions and plat maps for easements and fee title properties. Interpret deeds and descriptions. Complete staking of easements and construction projects. Other miscellaneous tasks as required. The District is not liable for any cost incurred by Consultants prior to the issuance of an agreement. The District reserves the right to cancel in part or in its entirety this RFQ. The District further reserves the right to accept the SOQ that it considers to be in the best interest of the District. The Consultant shall be required to obtain any necessary licenses and shall comply with all Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and ordinances without cost to the District. Contractor and any subcontractor(s) performing any Public Work shall comply with the applicable provisions of the California Labor Code, which require, among other things, that Contractor and all subcontractors pay not less than the prevailing rate of wages, as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations DIR in accordance with California Labor Code section 1773 The Services described in this Contract shall be provided for three years. The services are to commence upon execution and receipt of this Agreement and shall be completed in a prompt and timely manner in accordance with the conditions of the Agreement.
