For mowing and trimming within the Town of Deerfield. Mowing and trimming shall include: Transfer Station - mowing & trimming Transfer Station Hill - mowing & trimming (as needed, as determined by the Town) The Transfer Station mowing is to be done weekly, more frequently during wet seasons, less frequently during heavy drought. Frequency will be directed by the Facility Supervisor. The Transfer Station Hill shall be done as needed. Any changes in mowing, trimming or other contracted care to government grounds and buildings will be addressed by the Facility Supervisor. Maps and directions to all contracted areas will be handed out at the meeting. Bids will only be accepted from bidders who attend the mandatory bidder's meeting. The expectation is that mowing will begin at the start of the growing season and end when the growing season is finished. Any changes to mowing schedule will need to be authorized by the Facility Supervisor prior to the requested change taking place. Bid Submission Use "Vendor Bid Form" following RFB, page 2 for all Bids. Bids shall be submitted according to the format indicated on the form; any bids submitted not using the format will be rejected. Provide proof of current liability insurance with the Bid. Please mark each bid envelope clearly with: "2023- Transfer Station & Transfer Station Hill - Mowing & Trimming - 04" The Town of Deerfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
