The Village of Waverly, Tioga County, New York, invites sealed bids for the Water Distribution System Improvements project. The work to be done under this project shall include the installation of new ductile iron watermain, fittings and appurtenances along with various streets within the Village to replace undersized and aging watermain, installation of backup generation at Well #3, upgrades to the water system controls and associated restoration of all disturbed areas. All bids must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the amount of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents. The Village of Waverly strongly encourages Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises and Section 3 Firms to apply. Any bidder may withdraw their bid at any time before the time set for the opening of the bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) days after the date of opening but may withdraw it any time prior to the scheduled closing time for reception of bids.
