Renovation of a mixed-use development in Melrose, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project consists of the construction of an interior remodeling. 1. Briefly and without force and effect upon the Contract Documents, the Work of this single prime Contract can be summarized as follows: 2. Work under this Contract includes: a. Interior Finishes: 1) Insulated gypsum board/metal stud partitions. 2) Floor finishes of carpet. 3) Wall finishes of paint. 4) Ceiling finishes of acoustical lay-in tile. 5) HM doors and frames, wood doors, hardware, glazing, markerboards, tackboards. b. Mechanical Systems: 1) Minor systems modifications to accommodate remodel work. c. Electrical Systems: 1) Conduit and wiring. 2) Interior lighting. 3) Low voltage data pathways and cabling. 4) Fire alarm. This project includes: Interior renovation and associated mechanical and elecitrical systems modifications. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Independent School District #740 in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before August 18, 2023.
