Phase 1 scope is to build a 5,000 GSF Greenhouse at 715 West Raab Road. The planned total building program will be shared with the successful selected consultant A/E team. Phase 2 scope involves constructing a new 4 story building with a greenhouse and head house at the top of the building. The site will be located at the current existing Greenhouse and abandoned equipment site. The building is designed to have up to 9 Science Labs that can be either research or teaching labs. Some laboratories would be built out with the greenhouse and head house as part of the initial building construction. The remainder of these labs would be shelled out. The planned functional building space allocation and layout consultant A/E team. As of March 3, 2026 the project is in final design stage, but has been put on hold. Construction drawings are expected to be completed in spring 2026. Final project cost will be presented for approval to the owner Board of Trustees on May 8, 2026.
