This project covers the purchase and installation of approximately 2,700 linear feet of 12 inch C900 PVC water line which will be installed along the East side of S. Persimons Street. This water line will tie into an existing 12 inch water line Northeast of the intersection of Sutton Lane and S. Persimmons Street and tie into an existing 6 inch water line Southeast of the intersections of Lizzie Lane and S. Persimmons Street. This proposed water line will take the place of an existing 6 inch water line which is located on the West side of S. Persimmons Street and will be abandoned in place after the new line is constructed, tested and disinfected. A total of nine (9) SDR9 service reconnects will be required as well as nine (9) fire hydrant assembly's installed. The project will also have approximately 70 linear feet of 6 inch DR 25 C900 PVC water line coming off the main 12 inch line for the fire hydrants. Six (6) 12 inch isolation valves will need to be installed on the main trunk.
