Janitorial Services - Staunton District Lot The following areas shall be cleaned:
1. Two (2) Trailers (approximately 3,644 square feet combined) - approximately 16 people occupy the space
2. Survey Building (approximately 1,500 square feet) - approximately 10 people occupy the space
3. Pavement/Paint Building (approximately 668 square feet) - approximately 7 people occupy the space
4. NWRO/Traffic Management Center Building (approximately 4,600 square feet) - approximately 25 people occupy the space
5. Bridge Office/IT Storage (approximately 858 square feet) - approximately 8 people occupy the space
6. District Office Building (approximately 25,256 square feet) - approximately 30 people occupy the lower level, approximately 26 people occupy the middle level, and approximately 29 people occupy the upper level
7. District Shop Office and Basement (approximately 13,356 square feet) - approximately 10 people occupy the basement, approximately 8 people occupy the the lower level, and approximately 35 people occupy the upper level
8. Materials Building (approximately 10,936 square feet)
9. Environmental Building (approximately 5,052 square feet) The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to establish a one (1) year term contract with one (1) Contractor to provide janitorial services for various buildings on the Staunton District Lot of the Virginia Department of Transportation, an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, in accordance with the specifications contained herein during the contract period. The initial period of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period with the start date to be determined at the time of award and with the possibility of four (4) optional successive one (1) year renewal periods. Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed to Rebecca Smith Coburn at Rebecca.Coburn@VDOT.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM on March 29, 2023.
