All bids and proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the proposal forms provided with the contract documents, which will include the non-collusion affidavit as required by the State of Indiana. The bid envelope must be sealed and have the words: "SEALED BID ENCLOSED - DOWNTOWN STREET LIGHT INSTALLATION" A bid bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid must be submitted with each bid. A one hundred percent (100%) performance, a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond and a five percent (5%) maintenance bond will also be required of the successful bidder. The project/work shall consist of, but not necessarily limited to, the following: providing all equipment, materials, and labor for installation of new decorative street light poles with fixtures throughout the City's downtown blocks. There are up to 53 total lights to be placed, mostly on the existing foundations. It is intended that this work shall be started in Spring of 2023 and finish by October 2023.
