Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Fort Worth, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The proposed TEXRail Extension project is a 2.1-mile commuter rail system planned to operate within southwest Fort Worth from the Fort Worth T&P Station to the Near Southside Station (Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center). This commuter rail line extension will include one new station (the Near Southside Station) located at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center. Near Southside Station will include the TEXRail Platform, Park & Ride, and crew room. The construction associated with the TEXRail Extension project at the Near Southside Station is track, signal & communications, station platforms, pedestrian connections to the bus facilities, parking, and associated station amenities As of December 8, 2025, an issuance of short-listed firms has not been released. A design firm selection timeline has not been disclosed.
