Site Directions: Bush Street, Belke Street, Channel Drive, Lindbergh Avenue, Soo Marie Avenue, Frontenac Avenue, Indiana Avenue - Stevens Point, WI The contract shall consist of clearing and grubbing, erosion control, common excavation, constructing swales, curb and gutter removal, pavement removal, base aggregate, shouldering, storm sewer installation, preparing roadway for asphaltic surface, placing new asphaltic binder and surface, curb and gutter, placing new concrete and asphalt driveways, construction staking, sign placement, traffic control, restoration, and all incidental items thereto at the locations identified in the plans and these special provisions and as identified by the engineer or their duly authorized representative. The contractor shall be responsible for providing a traffic control plan and providing traffic control from the time contract work is commenced until the roadway can be opened to traffic; general cleanup including sweeping of the binder and removal of excess concrete is also required and shall be incidental to bid items included in the contract documents. Approximately 22,000 tons of dense graded base; approximately 935 tons of dense graded base for shouldering; approximately 6,850 tons of asphaltic concrete pavement; approximately 1,115 tons of asphaltic concrete driveway pavement; approximately 2,620 square yards of concrete driveway pavement; approximately 1,320 lineal feet of concrete curb and gutter; approximately 1,400 lineal feet of storm sewer; approximately 23,800 cubic yards of common excavation; approximately 19,500 square yards of restoration; removing and erecting street signs, appurtenances, and miscellaneous items.
