As of April 13, 2023, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to March 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: University of Wisconsin - Steven Points Campus This project provides investigation and research, pre-design, and design services in accordance with the DFD Consultant Policy & Procedure Manual to replace selected roofing systems on Old Main and the Science Building. The roofing systems and associated exterior envelope components will be evaluated to identify deficiencies, develop design solution alternatives, and recommend appropriate corrective measures. The design solution alternatives and all proposed project work on Old Main will be reviewed, coordinated, and approved by the State of Wisconsin Historical Society and the UW System Administration historical preservation officer.
