Geauga Park District is seeking a design-builder to provide professional design and construction services for this project. Geauga Park District ("Owner") is seeking a design-builder to provide professional design and construction services for the Cold Water Stream Restoration project located in the 180-acre park, Veteran's Legacy Woods (14085 Ravenna Road, Newbury, OH 44065) to restore stream, floodplain, and riparian habitat to improve water quality and habitat quality for the Cuyahoga River West Branch and the Cuyahoga River Watershed. The Cold Water Stream Restoration project includes separating the flow of the existing cold water spring from the warm water channel, creating new cold water habitat and riparian area. The project also includes restoring and improving hydrological flow by removing earthen dams and culverts, restabilizing tributaries and streams and restoring riparian floodplains. Lastly, the project calls for reforesting approximately 9.5 acres of fairway with native species. The Design-Builder will be responsible for all design, permitting, and construction activity necessary to complete the project. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all qualifications and waive any informalities. The Board also reserves the right to hold all statements of qualifications for 60 days after the submittal date, even if not accepted or rejected. The total maximum cost/price for performance under this contract is - $1,099,162.00 (total cost including design and construction).
