Renovation of a mixed-use development in Monroe, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The WALTON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT will receive proposals for Construction Management-at-Risk services for the Renovations and Modifications to Atha Road Elementary School and Youth Elementary School. Summary of scope of work: Atha Road Elementary School Renovations and Modifications: The scope of work includes the following: Replacing select flooring, ceiling and wall finishes, marker and tack boards, HVAC systems, low voltage systems and lighting, selective power upgrades, selective plumbing fixture replacement and installation of fire protection system, construction of a small pavilion, playground renovations/upgrades and the replacement of formed metal wall and roof panels on the existing gymnasium building. Tentative Schedule: Begin work Fall 2023 and complete Summer of 2025 Youth Elementary School Renovations and Modifications: The scope of work includes the following: Replacing select flooring, ceiling and wall finishes, marker and tack boards, TPO roof recover, HVAC systems, low voltage systems and lighting, selective power upgrades, selective plumbing fixture replacement and installation of fire protection system, construction of a small pavilion, playground renovations/upgrades and the replacement of formed metal wall & roof panels on the existing gymnasium. Tentative Schedule: Begin work Fall 2023 and complete Summer of 2025 The construction project shall be subject to the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Labor Standards, including the provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act, the prevailing wage provisions of the DavisBacon "related Acts" and the Department of Labor regulations at 29 C.F.R. Parts 1, 3, and 5. The Walton County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
