Val Verde County is soliciting sealed competitive proposals from professional irrigation firms for services to provide a design-build irrigation system for a three (3) phase installation project of a complete irrigation system at Long Memorial Park located at 1176 Lenawee Avenue, Del Rio Tx, 78840 It is the responsibility of the submitting entity to ensure that the proposal is received in a timely manner. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered for award, regardless of whether or not the delay was outside the control of the submitting provider. Val Verde County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all offerors submitting timely proposals. The successful Offeror must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. Offeror will be required to furnish bonds within thirty (30) days from the contract date or before commencement of work. All responses will be available on Val Verde Countys website by March 21, 2023 at 4:30 P.M. Val Verde County Commissioner Court reserves the right to reject or to waive any and all irregularities or informalities in the proposal. Proposals may be held by Val Verde County for a period of 60 days or until a contract is awarded, whichever occurs first, from the date of the RFP opening for the purpose of reviewing proposals. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.
