Paving (Highway, Road or Street) The work for this project will generally consist of an urban street pavement improvements of which shall include the removal of the existing bituminous pavement or full depth reclamation of the pavement, excavating existing subgrade, grading, adjust sanitary sewer and storm castings, install chimney seals on sanitary sewer casting / rings, adjust water main gate valve boxes, and bituminous paving. Ancillary work may include sub grade excavation to correct poor sub grade areas observed during roll testing, concrete curb (spot) replacement, and erosion control items. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract.
