The work for this project will generally consist of an urban street pavement improvements of which shall include a full depth reclamation of the pavement, excavating existing subgrade, grading, adjust sanitary sewer and storm castings, install chimney seals on sanitary sewer casting / rings, adjust water main gate valve boxes, and bituminous paving. Ancillary work may include sub grade excavation to correct poor sub grade areas observed during roll testing, isolated concrete curb replacement, and erosion control items. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to 25 ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by 26 ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
