Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a laboratory facility; for site work for a laboratory facility; retail development; retail development; and for the demolition of a laboratory facility.

The work consists of the construction of the new DOT District 1 Headquarters, Materials Testing Lab, Signal Lab, and Sign Shop Facility, demolition of the existing structures, and site improvements at 280 West Street, Rocky Hill, CT 06106. The work will be contracted per the bid package below. Bid package scopes of work are located in Division 0 of the Specifications. A 10% Bid Bond or Bid Security, payable to Newfield Construction Group, LLC is required from each Bidder at the time of bid submission. Bidders are required to post Payment Bonds for the full amount of the contract sum. The cost of such bonds shall be included in the bid price. Bidder Requirements: The bidder must have prior experience consisting of no less than three similar projects with an equal or greater value within the last five years.
