Asbestos abatement by wet demolition of the former nursing home located at 2525 Osage Road, Gatesville, TX and haul off to an authorized disposal site Contractor must have or hire a Department of State Health Services (DSHS)-licensed waste hauler/transporter This contract is for the wet demolition and proper packaging, transport, and disposal of the demolition debris resulting from the demolition of the former Rotunda Nursing Home which has been deemed structurally unsound. The remaining structures contain approximately 227,205 sf of ACM in the form of textured walls and ceilings, flooring (sheet vinyl and tile), and mastic. This work will be conducted by trained and licensed abatement personnel utilizing wet methods and appropriate PPE with a regulated work area. The building slabs will be left, however the contractor will be responsible for leaving the slab surfaces and adjacent areas in a visually clean condition free of building materials debris This project is to be executed in accordance with the requirements of TAC 25, Chapter 296 and 29 CFR 1926.1101. Contractor will ensure one (1) NESHAP-certified asbestos supervisor is present on site.
