Site work and asbestos abatement for a retail development in Macon, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a retail development; and for asbestos abatement for a retail development.
The Project consists of the removal and disposal of Asbestos Containing Materials, Above Ground Storage Tanks, and additional Hazardous Waste Materials in preparation for building demolition. Remediation efforts must satisfy the Brownfield Voluntary Cleanup Program. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on unit price basis, bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Questions on the Bid Documents from general contractors and sub-contractors will be answered by the Macon, MO office of the Consulting Engineer. All questions must be submitted using the Request for Information Form (RFI) included in the specifications to Susan Copenhaver of the consulting engineer via e-mail at scopenhaver@mecresults.com. Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashiers checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc. Unless stated otherwise, all orders placed are non-refundable. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
