Replacement of filter valves, actuators and appurtenances at the Van de Water Water Treatment Plant. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 10% Contract term: 6/1/23 to 5/31/24 The Erie County Water Authority will receive separate, sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, plant, tools, equipment and specified materials or services for Jerome D. Van de Water WTP Filter No. 3 Valves Replacement. The Work consists of replacement of filter process valves, actuators, and appurtenances on Filter No. 3 at the Van de Water WTP. When permitted, members of the public may be present to observe the bid opening. All attendees must bring a government-issued photo identification (driver's license preferred) and check-in with the ECWA receptionist before being allowed entry to the bid opening. Whenever the Erie County Water Authority is operating under a Declaration of Emergency due to a pandemic or other general state of emergencies, members of the public may be precluded from being present at such bid opening Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid.The Erie County Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed to be for the best interest of the Water Authority even though the proposal chosen may result in the award of the contract to a bidder whose bid is not mathematically lowest.
