o This is a Small Business Set-Aside. This Request for Quote for Physical Security Systems Maintenance Services Contract is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Commercial Services Procedures. Simplified acquisition procedures will be followed. This solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price commercial services maintenance contract. The Contractor shall submit a firm-fixed price quote to perform all services required in accordance with the Statement of Work. The Contractor's price shall be their fully burdened rate which includes all costs associated with the performance of any and all services against this contract in accordance with this "statement of work" (SOW). Quotes should be of sufficient detail to determine their adequacy. Due to varying services required, the solicitation was drafted with the understanding the Department of Labor Service Contract Act wage determination may apply to this contract. The contractor however is responsible for reviewing FAR clause 52.222-41, Service Contract Labor Standards and determine if the Service Contract Act applies or if an exemption applies under one of the FAR clauses. The contractor must include that information and determination in their quote and state the occupation category or categories that apply. If the contractor determines the services are considered professional in nature and the Service Contract Act doesn't apply, that shall be indicated in their quote. If the contractor has questions on this matter, they shall contact the contracting officer for further clarification or contact the Department of Labor Service Contract Act wage and hour compliance division. A sample wage determination is being included with the solicitation. The contractor may reference the below sites for information on the Service Contract Act wage determination. If the contractor's quote package doesn't contain all of the items listed above or isn't received by the closing date and time listed below, the quote may be considered incomplete for evaluation purposes and no further consideration will be given to the Contractor's quote, thereby making a contractor ineligible for award.
