Site work for a road / highway in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Question Submission Deadline:April 5, 2023, 4:00pm Work to be Substantially Completed in: 90 calendar days Contractor shall purchase and install eight (8) prefabricated speed humps (as shown or approved equal), eight (8) speed hump approach signs, and install eight (8) supplemental pavement approach marking sets along Sellger Drive as shown in the included attachments. Pricing to include all applicable traffic control and permits, and any other applicable items. Final locations for installation shall be coordinated with the Department of Transit prior to installation. Installation of speed tables, signage, and pavement markings shall be completed within 90 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Eight (8) speed hump locations, each location shall include the following: Speed hump: measurements shown on included location sketch, including transition sections. o Speed humps shall be 3-in height. o Anchor assemblies shall be 7-in. Approach pavement markings: marking shall be thermoplastic. Speed hump signage (W17-1). Final locations of speed humps to be approved by the Department of Transit prior to installation. The City reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or to reject any or all bids in whole or part, when it is in the best interest of the City. The right to waive informalities and to determine responsiveness of any bid and responsibility of all bidders is reserved to the City.
