Pierce County Housing Authority is seeking bids from qualified, licensed and bonded contractors to perform exterior painting services on two apartment complexes consisting of multiple one- and two-story buildings, including but not limited to replacing damaged siding and trim, surface preparation, priming, and painting all exterior surfaces, in Lakewood, WA. This project is federally funded with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and is subject to Title 24 CFR 570 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations as amended. Bidders shall not be discriminated against on grounds of sex, race, color, age, religion, national origin, disability, or other protected classes. Contractors are encouraged to hire apprentices and Section 3 residents. Bidders are encouraged to consider minority and women owned businesses as potential subcontractors and material suppliers for this project. Contractors shall not be debarred from participating in bidding on state or federally funded contracts.
