Weatherization - Residential Insulation of single wide mobile home. This contract may not exceed $50,000, including all fees and taxes. The start date of this procurement will be determined by program staff and the winning bidder. Projects are typically completed within 60-90 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed by program staff. The residence was built in 1973 and is in good condition. The residence is 876 SqFt. Roof is coated metal and a new membrane is part of the scope. Pierce County Human Services staff will meet winning bidder on-site prior to work beginning. Installation of weatherization measures outlined in attached pricing spreadsheet. Work includes electrical measures. All work is subject to local codes and jurisdictional rules. Lead-safe work practices are expected, when applicable. Contractor will perform all work outlined in scope. Subcontractors are allowed. The contractor is responsible for obtaining any and all necessary permits. The contractor is responsible for filing intent/affidavits. Pursuant to weatherization program rules; no sales tax will be charged on materials installed. Installation must meet the Department of Commerce requirements for weatherization. The Contractor shall provide material warranty and specifications to the County and homeowner.
