Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tacoma, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Demolition of an existing exterior asphalt ramp and replacement with a concrete ramp connecting two levels of an adjacent building. The project also includes the addition of a new ADA compliant concrete ramp and sidewalk for improved access between buildings of the PDC campus. Associated work includes but is not limited to, temporary sedimentation and erosion control, storm drainage and grading, landscape restoration, steel pipe railing and signage. The project site is located within the Tacoma Smelter Plume with predicted arsenic concentration over 100 ppm. All excavated soils require remediation. Estimated construction cost: $300,000-350,000.00.
